The Water Manifestation Technique: How to Manifest With Just a Glass of Water

In this post, I'm going to show you one of my favorite manifestation techniques, and it is so easy. You don't need any tools other than some water. So go grab a glass, and let's manifest.

This is one of my favorites because it requires literally nothing, and it brings together some of my favorite manifestation principles all at once: the law of assumption, gratitude, and affirmations. I call it the water manifestation technique.

Before we begin, take a second to ground your energy with me. When do we ever just sit and breathe? Take a deep breath in through your nose, hold it for a moment, and slowly exhale through your mouth. There we go. Now our energy is centered and we're ready to manifest.

Why the Water Manifestation Technique Works

This method is powerful because it's simple, and simplicity is what makes a practice something you'll actually do every day. It layers together several of the most effective manifestation tools: you speak your desire as an affirmation, you use gratitude to raise your energy, and you apply the law of assumption by speaking as if your desire has already happened. On top of that, it's completely inconspicuous. You can do it in public and no one will ever know you're manifesting.

What You Need

All you need is a drink. Water is perfect, but you can also use tea, coffee, soda, or any beverage you like. When I manifest, I prefer natural materials like a glass or metal cup over plastic, but honestly it doesn't matter, so use whatever you have. I do recommend a container you can open, because you want to be able to speak your energy directly into the drink.

How to Do the Water Manifestation Technique

Step one: whisper your desire in present tense

You're going to whisper your desire into your drink, and here's the trick: say it as if it has already happened, in present tense. So instead of "I want a million dollars," you say "I have a million dollars." Instead of "I want to meet my person," you say "I have the love of my life."

Step two: add the gratitude affirmation

Now take that sentence and add a gratitude opener to the front of it: "I am so happy and grateful now that..." For example, "I am so happy and grateful now that I have a million dollars," or "I am so happy and grateful now that I have the love of my life." Whisper that right into your water.

Step three: stack as many desires as you want

There is no limit to how many desires you can whisper into your drink. Say as many as you like: "I am so happy and grateful now that I have a million subscribers. I am so happy and grateful now that I have amazing friends in my life. I am so happy and grateful now that I have another dog." Manifest as much as your heart wants.

Step four: feel the emotion of already having it

As you speak, feel the genuine excitement of already having your desire. Imagine how you'd feel if it arrived today or tomorrow, and let that emotion fill you. Come from a place of abundance, knowing it's already yours, rather than a place of lack, stress, or frustration about not having it yet. Whatever energy you put into that drink is what you're about to take in, so keep it grateful and joyful.

Step five: drink it in

Finally, as you drink, envision yourself ingesting the energy and the manifestations you just placed into the cup. You're literally taking your desires into your body and embodying your future self. I love doing this first thing in the morning with my water, because then I spend the whole rest of the day sipping in that good energy and living as my future self.

Level It Up: Manifesting With Your Vitamins

If you want to take this one step further, try manifesting with your vitamins and supplements. It's the same idea, leveled up, and it turns a chore into something exciting. Taking your supplements is already good for your body, and pairing each one with a desire makes the habit genuinely fun.

Pour out your supplements for the day and hold them in your hand. For each pill, place a desire into it, exactly like the water method, so every pill carries its own manifestation. The more supplements you take, the more wishes you get to make. Then as you swallow each one, imagine yourself ingesting that desire and becoming one with it. "I am so happy and grateful now that I have a million subscribers," and down it goes.

What I love most is that you get to do this every single day. It makes taking your vitamins fun, and it gently forces you to manifest daily, living in the state of your wish fulfilled while doing an ordinary task. When you can attach manifestation to something simple you already do every morning, it becomes a small daily moment to connect with yourself, your higher self, and the universe. It puts me in a good mood and kickstarts my whole day the right way.

My Green Card Story

I leaned on this method heavily during the pandemic. I was staying on top of my supplements to keep my immunity and mental health up during a hard time, and connecting to my manifestation practice every morning genuinely lifted my mood and kept me hopeful.

At the time, I was trying to get my green card. I'm Canadian, and although I was already on a work visa, I really wanted permanent residency in the United States. Every single morning I'd use this method for that one desire, over and over: "I am so happy and grateful now that I have my green card." I didn't even wish for anything else with my other pills. And it worked. I got my green card in about six months, one of the fastest cases my immigration lawyer had ever seen. He actually told me he'd never seen someone get through immigration that fast, when it can take some people years or even decades.

You don't have to keep your wishes to one desire, but that story is my little testimony that this method truly works. So go grab your water, whisper your dreams into it, and drink them in.
